The Poetry of Failure

The Poetry of Failure

You thought entrepreneurs had it bad. But, when they fail, they can just blame someone or something else, be it an economic recession, a lead investor who passed on a critical round, or whatever.

Writers don’t bother with excuses. For one, there’s typically no one or nothing else to blame. More to the point, they treat failure as the natural order of things. Writers don’t expect every poem, story or book to meet success. That’s not a requirement of the creative process. And, writers aren’t usually backed by investors vapidly waiting for each work to add to the ROI. If a work meets with success, great! The creative mind welcomes the occasional hit; he/she doesn’t expect it!

Join the team from Failure - the Podcast as they explore a writer’s world with Ken Briodagh, a story teller and adventurist in the Connecticotian mold of Mark Twain — but with a technology twist. In addition to writing poems and screenplays, Ken is the editor of IoT (internet of things) publishing giant TMC, where he oversees such august productions as IoT Evolution World, IoT Evolution Health, and Industrial IoT World.

Fear not, however, faithful listeners — all three of you! This is not a tech podcast. Using interviewing skills that would make NPR’s Terry Gross jealous, the team brought out Ken’s softer side and had him philosophizing on the art and craft of writing in a manner likely to make even Stephen King proud.
